A unique interpretation of our beloved Paloma model, this guitar is precisely fine-tuned to Joey's needs as a standout slide player. Besides the acclaimed Duesenberg Radiator Tremola in the short version, Joey's Alliance Guitar has a couple more tricks up its sleeve.
Fitted with our own interpretation of the classic Gold-Foil Singlecoil pickup in the neck position, this guitar is ready for outstanding transparency and clarity which is perfectly suited for Joey's unique playing style.
This Gold-Foil is accompanied by a classically wound Singlecoil in the middle position and a new custom version of our innovative Split/King Duo-Coil design Pickup by the bridge.
This pickup is capable of delivering both real Singlecoil and real Humbucker tones through a unique coil design and was fine-tuned for Joey's Guitar to deliver more output and bite.

Alliance Series Sascha Paeth - Snake Red

Duesenberg Sascha Paeth - Snake Red, Alliance Series

Duesenberg has unveiled a new collaboration with German metal icon Sascha Paeth: an Alliance Series instrument that, most notably, features a snakeskin top.

The material is not actually snakeskin, but artificial leather. Duesenberg also revealed the guitar’s new features were added to “support Paeth’s explosive playing style”.

These include a new CAC neck-body transition, a Kill Switch, and a sub-volume control. The latter is designed to manage the neck pickup using a roller pot. The Alliance Series Sascha Paeth will be available in a red or black variant. Otherwise, the Alliance Series Sascha
Paeth is a solid-body guitar that sports the brand’s Paloma body shape and signature headstock style.

For a model of this classic construction, of course, the combination of maple and mahogany was our first choice. The neck and body are essentially made of high-quality mahogany, which perfectly suits our ideas of sound and charisma of this instrument. In order to optimize the weight and the resonance characteristics, the body is partially hollowed out ("chambered"). And finally, a massive, vaulted ceiling made of the finest curly maple crowns the whole thing in the truest sense of the word.

The '59 is equipped with two GrandVintage humbuckers and thus well prepared to become what its true purpose is: a real rock guitar! But we also wanted to give her the ability to clear, transparent sounds. Therefore, in the middle position of the 3-way switch, certain low-end frequencies are filtered out of the signal of the bridge humbucker, producing the clarity and sparkling heights we all love so much.

On the '59 we use the Diamond Griffette inserts originally designed for the Starplayer TV DLX. These insoles are only found on these two models.

Alliance Series Jeff Darosa - Catalina Green Burst

Jeff DaRosa, the rock multi-instrumentalist and a member of the Boston-based punk band The Dropkick Murphys, has collaborated once again with Duesenberg and together they have come up with this amazing guitar which has one pickup but three completely different sounds.

These sounds are paramount for the Dropkick Murphy sound that we all know and mirrors the life growing up on the streets of Boston, Massachusetts.

Jeff goes into more detail by telling the following, "When we go into the Studio, Tim likes to use his humbucker semi-acoustic and James goes on the other side with his humbucker solidbody and I like to go straight up through the middle with a single coil sound. But I also need something to kick ass live on stage and my new Duesenberg Alliance Series does all of this, so now I have found my perfect guitar."

THE ALLIANCE SERIES JEFF DAROSA BRINGS YOU A SINGLE SPLIT/KING PICKUP AT THE BRIDGE.
This pickup can switch between real humbucker and real singlecoil mode. But it is not the splittable humbucker you might expect.
It actually houses a real singlecoil which can be extended to a full humbucker with a second, specially designed coil to actually deliver the best of both worlds. As a third option, the pickup can be set into an in between mode where both coils are mixed in a special way to give you even more flexibilty.

The Alliance Series Jeff DaRosa is based on our brand new Senior design but comes in a breath-taking all over Catalina Green Burst finish with a nickel finished armrest, Duesenberg "Wing" fretboard inlays and a laser-etched single volume control.

The Motown Bass is a semi-hollow, triple pickup, 20 fret electric bass, featuring a thin 3,5cm body profile and classic styling.

We have taken the best features of the British and American sounding basses and made an incredible warm semi-hollow bass. The Motown comes with 3 single coil pickups giving you the astonishing tonality of the past 50 years.

Its body is constructed from spruce for the top and flamed maple for the back and bent sides. The top and back are arched just very slightly to give you elegant curves to snuggle with.

Three DS Alnico Blade singlecoils convert the vibration of the strings into warm, yet transparent tone. Each of the pickups can be turned on or off individually, so you can easily browse through a choice of tones from the past decades.
